My trip to Quail Island

In the holidays I drove to Lyttelton.  I got on the boat with my family.  My Mum wanted to go on the boat because she had never been on it before.

I walked around the whole island for two hours.  We had ham buns for lunch.  We saw old dog kennels and I went inside.  It smelt like hay.  I saw crabs and some Quail birds.

It was so much fun at Quail Island.  I felt sad when we left.  We  drove back and went through the big tunnel.  I  loved it, it was my favorite day ever. I hope I go back maybe soon...
