Delly and Roxy

My pets are called Delly and Roxy. Delly is a cat and Roxy is a dog. Roxy has brown fur and Delly has grey fur. Roxy is very energetic because when she gets let out of her kennel she runs round the garden like CRAZY! Delly is grouchy because whenever someone watches her eat her cat biscuits she snarls at them. We got Roxy from Dad's friend. She used to always love pig hunting, but now she doesn't go pig hunting. My cat needs food and water and so does my dog.

My animal dumping cartoon...

This is my animal dumping cartoon. In the top left corner the man has dumped his pet in the clothes bin because he needs to move into a rental property (he can't have his pet in the rental property).

Fuppet Crazy Eyes

My fuppet's name is Crazy Eyes and he is 9 years old.  He has blue skin and yellow eyes.  One of his pupils are big and one of his pupils are small that's why he is called Crazy Eyes.  Crazy Eyes' nose is green and it is fluffy.  He has no hair, but he has fluff behind his eyes.  The colour of the fluff of fur behind his eyes are brown.

Crazy Eyes is honest, caring and loving.  He is caring because when people are hurt he will take care of them.

He lives at my house with my Brother, my Mum, my Dad.  He also has pets.  He has a cat called Delly and a dog called Roxy.  He likes to play soccer with his friends.  He also loves school.

Our Amazing Playground: An Adventure theme

Our playground had an adventure theme.  In it we have a pool, flying fox, panda, dragon, igloo, seal maze, climbing wall, turtle and dolphin swings, snake water fountain and toilets. The seal maze you can go through the maze or climb on the seal. The swings are called turtle and dolphin swings because there is a dolphin and a turtle. There is an igloo that has snow falling from the top, but it is actually white foam falling from the top of the igloo. There is a panda sculpture that you have to go through the mouth and look out its eyes.

Building Fire Rafts

On Tuesday our class went to Waipara Boys Brigade camp. We did lots of activities like the water hole, the water slide, orienteering, Herbivores and Carnivores, bivvy building, the confidence course, the river walk, archery, rifle shooting, team building, flying fox, swings and the krypton factor.  My three best activities were the water hole, the water slide and Herbivores and Carnivores. I was in cabin 12 with Devon, Marcus, Jayden K and Noah.  There was also games we could play like foosball, mini golf and trampoline and if we asked we could go on the toboggans. Some people got hurt on the toboggans so I didn't go on them.

The Variety Bash at Freeville School

On our court we had a Variety Bash and the whole school was there.  They were raising money for kids all over New Zealand.  It was their first time at Freeville School.  They gave us lots of gifts.  They were raised thirteen million dollars so far.  It was lots of fun!  We got stickers, lollies, bracelets, popcorn and corn tubes.

Neco's Camping Trip

In the holidays on 2nd January I went to Ashley Gorge. Ashley Gorge is a camping ground. On the first day we unpacked in thunder storms and real bad rain. Then I went to my friends tent.  After 5 minutes I had to help hold the tent down because it nearly blew away.  Then the next day we were planing on going down to the river for a swim.  My Dad went down and had a look and the river was very high and dirty.

After a few hours there was a water slide at the camp.  It was awesome!  When it was over we had a shower and got changed.  The showers work differently because you have to put in a token and it gives you five minutes of hot water.  When it was over and my friend Ethan and I went for a bike ride.  When we were biking we found a little area in the bushes, so we went down and had a look.  It was really fun, so we made it into our secret hideout.  On the next day we got up and it was sunny.  The river was alright, so we got to go for a swim.  After lunch we got our wetsuits on and went down to the river.  When we got down to the river we started swimming.  The river was cold when I first got in, but it became warm.  I jumped off the rocks into the water.  Then a few days later it was time to leave, so we packed up and left.

Making the Fuppets was fun!

We made a movie about head lice. Instead of using stick characters we made puppets. Then we called them fuppets. First of all we watched YouTube movies of puppeteers and some of The Muppets. Followed by going on google and going on webstits about puppets. My favourite part of this would of been making them. The hardest part was putting my hand up (with the fuppet), when we were being filmed.

Fuppet: Fluorescent Jet

Fluorescent Jet is 15 years old.  His birthday is on 25th December (Christmas).  Fluorescent Jet is as yellow as a highlighter.  My fuppet's tongue is dark green because the rest of his body is light colours. Fluorescent Jet's eyebrows are as orange as an orange (fruit).  My fuppet has wavy hair, two eyebrows, two eyes, an orange nose and a mouth with a green tongue.

Fluorescent Jet's personality is enthusiastic and friendly.  He is enthusiastic because he is always full of energy and excitement.  My fuppet's life is always full of surprises and fun.  He lives at 122 Volkcano Drive.  My fuppet has a Mum, Dad, sister and a puppy.  Fluorescent Jet has three best fuppet friends: Wacko, Crazy and Mystery.  He has one enemy called Black Jellybean.  Fluorescent Jet's hobbies are playing any type of sport and noodle tag. What my fuppet likes the most is playing with his friends.

Venetian Mask: Neco

I liked making my mask because I got to paint it metallic blue and put beads on my mask.  I put modelling compound on my mask aswell. It was awesome!

the video head lice to dead lice

This video is about head lice and how to get head lice out of children's hair.  This is a very good video because it tells you the things you need to take the lice out of your hair.

Neco and I found this video on YouTube.  In this video it shows you how long to leave the olive oil in your hair.  It takes 8 hours.

Has anyone ever tried using Olive oil?

Abstract ART

Christchurch Art Gallery, Te Puna O Waiwhetu Screen Printing Lesson:

Today we went to the relocatable east and we learnt about abstract art. First we did the screen printing.  We wrote our name on the back of card and each group had to line up and wait for their turn.  When it was your turn you had to screen print your paper.  The lady put paint on the screen and you used the squeegee to go back and forth.  You then opened the lid of the screen and took your piece of paper off the screen printer.  After the screen printing we put dye on the paper and blew with the straw to move the paint around.

Manaia and Neco Linsey Pollak

Today we went to see a show called Linsey Pollak, Passing Wind. It was awesome because there were lots of instruments. Neco’s favourite was the bagpipes and mine was Mr Curly. He had a thing called kaosmatic.  The kaosmatic was a touch pad DJ.  He recorde Thomas' voice and put other sounds over it.  Linsey made a fiute with a carrot.
