MY DOG JACK

My dog Jack

My dogs name is Jack and he is 16 years old we got him at the pound. He is white with a couple of black spots and brown silky ears. His favourite game is sleep in the sunshine and ride in the car. We called him Jack because his breed is a Jack Russel. When he wants food he scratches his bowl or water. He can open doors with his nose.

Ninja

My puppet's name is Ninja he is 9 years old.  He is bold but has soft ginger hair behind his eyes. Ninja has smooth fur like a juicy lime and he has shiny white eyes.  Ninja has a red mouth plate and a green tongue.  His nose is like a funky clown.  His eyes are black like the dark.

My puppet likes sport, soccer, basketball, cricket and touch.  He is intelligent and smart about science and always finds a solution.  Ninja is fast at running in races and creative at making stuff up.

He's enthusiastic, full of energy and is a team player.  Ninja lives near the beach with his Mum, Dad and sister.  He plays soccer and scored 21 goals.  He loves reading any books.

Our Amazing Playground Design: Lego Playground

Our playground is amazing because it is a Lego playground.  We made Lego men that talk to you, you can climb up a fort and look all over the playground. It also has a slide and we also have ninja push toys that you punch and kick.  You feel like you are fighting a real ninja!

Our Amazing Playground Mystery Bus Trip...

We went on a amazing bus trip for our inquiry.  We went to Marine Parade Park,  Pack 'n Save park at Wainoni, Murchison Park, Bishopdale Park and the Botanic Gardens.  My favorite park was the Bishopdale Park with the elephant because it was the only that had an obstacle course and a giant slide.  At the park near Pack 'n Save there was a giant climbing net and a spinning chair.

Marcus at Camp...

At camp we went to the water hole and the water was not cold.  I went on the mini water slide.  It went a little bit fast, but it was fun. Next we got in to our activity groups.  First we did hobo stoves.  On the hobo stoves I cooked pikelets. They were yummy and bunt. Then we did the confidence course, but it was pretty much an obstacle course, but lots of fun.  Next we did bivvy building and we had to build a tent with only string and a cover.  We built the best bivvy because we didn't get wet.  The next day we went on the water slide.  I was the first person to down the water slide.   We did orienteering and then we went on the swings and flying fox. It was the best camp every.

The Variety Bash at Freeville School

On our court we had a Variety Bash and the whole school was there.  They were raising money for kids all over New Zealand.  It was their first time at Freeville School.  They gave us lots of gifts.  They were raised thirteen million dollars so far.  It was lots of fun!  We got stickers, lollies, bracelets, popcorn and corn tubes.

Geometry: Day 2...

We were making geometrical shapes. We learnt about prisms and pyramids. We had fun making 3D shapes.

Holiday Snapshot: Governors Bay
