My cat Arthur

This is my cat Arthur, his breed is a Persian and he is 5yrs old we got him from the Cat's Protection and he had to get all his fur shaved off when they found him. Arthur's fur is black and his personality is awesome.  He thinks he's the king of the jungle and never let's other cats in his territory.

Arthur needs lots of brushing.  Mum or I have to do his eyes with a cloth because he can't clean his eyes and they get lots of junk in them.  Arthur can be silly because once when he was on my bed he was rolling around and he fell off my bed.  It was so funny because he was just hanging there with his claws stuck into the covers.  Sometimes he plays with a cat-nip ball that's really fluffy and is woolen, so it gets stuck in his claws and he goes CRAZY! He also plays with string and runs around the house with all sorts of pens.

Dumping pets...

This is art work that I drew is about people dumping their animals and leaving them because when they move to rentals the land lords don't allow pets or animals.  In my picture there is the mum and daughter putting the poor dog in to recycle.

Fuppet Smiggle

Last term my class wrote about our puppets.  We used similes to make our writing sound interesting.
This is my descriptive writing.

APPEARANCE: My puppet's name is called Smiggle and she is eight years old.  She has lovely soft dark blue hair and a dark blue tongue.  Her skin is as soft as my cats fluffy fur.  Smiggle has an emerald green nose.  Smiggle's bucket is dark orange with dark blue stripes.  It also has red and blue darker dots.  Her eyes are black with a light blue eye cap that is the same colour as her skin.

PERSONALITY: Smiggle's personality is funky and funny. She hates bullies and her favourite animal is fish.  Smiggle wants to go shopping all the time, but sometimes she can be a bit annoying.   Smiggle never talks to strangers.

LIFE: Smiggle has a best friend called Jazz and lives with her mum and dad.  Her friends are also Raro, Abigail, Passion,  Layla and Big Red.

WHAT YOUR PUPPET LIKES TO DO:Smiggle likes to go for walks almost every, day but not when she's busy.  She loves to colour in and does really good drawings as good as an artist.  Smiggle likes to spend time with her friends and she's a bit cheeky most times.

Measuring circles...

Today we went round the school measuring all sorts of things.  We were measuring the diameter of circles.  But we were using the wrong side of the tape measure, we were measuring in inches.  We had lots of fun running around the school.

The Waterhole...

At camp we did all sorts of things, like bivvy building, riffle shooting, archery, orienteering, hobo stoves, herbivores & carnivores, waterhole, team building, confidence course and ropes and swings.

 My favourite activity was probably bivvy building. You make a bivvy with tarpaulin and string. Then go under it and the lady who was running it poured water over it. If you get wet you didn't make it and if you don't well... good work! Maddy and I made a bivvy together and didn't get wet.

 My next favourite activity was archery. It was a lot of fun, but Ross who did archery talked a lot. When we rotated my group had to stay and do another round. I LOVED the waterhole, it was so much fun. I went down the mini water slide and swung on the rope, but the water was so so so cold! After the water hole all of us went to the giant water slide it was so big!

The Variety Bash at Freeville School

On our court we had a Variety Bash and the whole school was there.  They were raising money for kids all over New Zealand.  It was their first time at Freeville School.  They gave us lots of gifts.  They were raised thirteen million dollars so far.  It was lots of fun!  We got stickers, lollies, bracelets, popcorn and corn tubes.

Bring a Bike Day to School Day!

Today was bike day, everybody in the school joined in with the fun.  There were people dressed up as all sorts of things.  We saw bunnies, witches, Santa on bikes, fairies and flower girls.  Our favorite costume was the crocodile.  What's your favorite costume?

Mrs Bubble's Truffles

In class we are making and selling truffles for LR 3's Market Day. We have been learning how to  make a logo for our product above is what we have at the moment.  Do you like the opacity of the text, lighter or darker?  It will be up to you. We have also learnt about copyrights, so say McDonalds we cant have McTruffles and use yellow and red.  We really like our logo so far and we hope you do too.

The Fuppets: Movie

After learning about head lice our class was thinking of ideas. Our teacher Miss K thought we could make some puppets then we could call them The Fuppets. It was a long process making them, but we did finsh them in time for the movie. We got a lot of footage!

Fuppet: Neptune Laptoon Sunshine

Hi, I'm fuppet Neptune Laptoon Sunshine and I love taking my dog for walks. My dog has a very long jaw (nose to), a tail that pops up and has fur hanging down from it.

Neptune has long fluffy light blue hair and a medium coloured nose. She has a neon highlighted orange mouth with a neon yellow coloured tongue and a very pretty dark brown eyes. Neptune has a perfect personality and has a loving sister called Slushy and the most kindest mum in the world. She had another sister called Grape and a brother called Sky Monkey and last of all a annoying big brother called TG.

Venetian Mask: Niamh

I had to think about colours and I thought of blues and purples. I learnt a lot of stuff about masks. Especially doing the texture with purple paint. On my mask it stood out with the blue paint. After that I thought I needed some bling on my mask. When I was at school mum went to the mall and got the worlds most prettiest flower in the world. When Miss K put the flower on it looked amazing!

Lone Star Ribs!

On Saturday night we went to Lone Star. When we got to Lone Star there were no seats upstairs, so we had to eat downstairs. We all ordered ribs, chips and chicken nibbles. It took about 20 minutes for the food to come. For drinks we had traffic lights. They were very yummy!! When the ribs came they were hot.

After we were done we went to Meg’s house and had a sleep over. We watched High School Musical 2. It was so cool!!! In the morning we were woken up by CC. CC is Meg’s cat.  She jumped on and off the bed, it was so cute! Then we woke up  Meg’s Dad and we asked for the computer. We went on animal jam. when Meg’s Dad woke up again we asked for breakfast in bed! We had toast. After breakfast Niamh had to get dressed so her Dad could pick her up to go to tennis.
