Fuppet: Emma
My fuppet is called Emma. She is nine years old. She has a pink face. It looks like the shape of an oval. Emma’s hair looks like candy floss with dark pink on the end. Her eyes look like marshmallows and her pupils look like chocolaty fudge. Her eyebrows look like dark pink ice cream. Her tongue look like a yummy sweet candy lolly shape like heart. She has four short fingers on each hand. Her body is creamy white.
Venetian Mask: Amber-Rose
Hello I’m Amber-Rose, I made a mask with my class. First I painted it white. Next I put some light gold metallic paint on my mask. I had to paint the mask quickly. Then I left it to dry. I painted it three times. After I dry brushed it with silver, black, gold and purple. The last thing I did was stick some purple jewels at the corner of the eyes and the fore head. I love my mask!
African Drum Show
Today my class went to a drum show. The drums were made out of goatskin and wood. I played the drum. I copied the man. He was wearing a green hat and a yellow shirt. At the end we did some dancing. It was really fun. I enjoyed it. The best part was the dancing.
Looking for creatures...
Last Friday I went to the Groynes with my class. I went in the purple van. The weather was hot and sunny. When we got there we played a game outside next to the water called ‘Not feeding the ducks.’ The game was awesome I really liked it. I was in a group.
I found out you shouldn’t feed ducks if you have a picnic because they should eat water boatmen which are insects. After we played the game we came back to school. It was a lovely day.

Amber-Rose's Holiday...
In the holidays I went to Kaikoura. I went on a truck with Bradley. We went in the kids pool and it was a deep big pool.
Then we went home to Christchurch and then we saw our three cats. We went to Spencer Park to see my Mum's girlfriend. At Spencer Park I played on the green ropes and the monkey bars.
What else can you see me doing?
Christmas biscuits
Today I shared out Christmas biscuits to my class that Mrs Douglas made and I iced. The biscuits were brown and the icing was brown and blue. I put the lollies on top of the icing. They were yummy and delicious.
Movie Making: Peter and the Wild Poaka
We made a movie called 'Peter and the Wild Poaka.' I was the pukeko's voice in the movie. Lots of people are coming to the Freevillwood studio 16 today. My Mum is not coming beacuse she is at work.

Thank you Salvation Army
Today I went swimming with my class at Jellie Park. I did a frog swim, it was so much fun! Thanks to The Salvation Army who paid for our whole learning team to go swimming.

Strike
We liked the Tongan drums and the rain storm song. We liked how they screamed! It was so fantastic. They all wore the same t-shirts, it was so cool. We loved the show, the boys were funny. Thanks STRIKE!
Movie Making: Children making Safer Journeys
I liked making the puppets for the movie. Next time I would like to help with the backdrops. I liked it when the 'Road Safety Crew,' helped out.
Earthquakes: 5.6 & 6.3 Monday 13th June
When the 5.6 happened the class went outdoors on the field. My Mum took quite a while to get to school. All of the streets were flooded. Our street has water from letter box to letter box. by Amelia
On Monday there was a earthquake, first there was a 5.6 and later on there was a 6.3. My uncle didn't feel the 5.6 because he was driving. He was wondering why some kids were getting picked up from school. Olivia
When the 6.3 happened my friend Anaian was at my house and we where watching a movie. Then the 6.3 happened and Anaian was hugging me. Gabbie
On Monday there was a big earthquake and we where all at school. I was going to do a fitting for my jacket, but the 5.6 happened so we went home. We stayed home and at 4 o clock we went to my Dad's house. He lives at the back of the airport and he had power and water. We didn't have to boil the water. We are staying there for a week. My Dad dropped us off at school today and he is picking us up. Yesterday we went to the airport and we had burger king for lunch. At the airport we had lots of fun. We played games, watched TV and I read a book. My Dad has a pool and spa pool, but we have not been in them yet because I didn't bring my togs. Demmy
When the 5.6 happened my brother and I were crying. I was with Mrs Douglas and I went under her desk and I was scared. Then my Mum picked me up from school. Amber-Rose
When I got home we went an talked to the neighbours. Then the 6.3 happened and Mum and I could barely stand up. Then I wanted to go home because there was lots of liquefaction pouring out the driveway. When we got there we looked outside and a truck was coming. It was on the right lane and then it went into a sink hole. The driver was ok. There was a guy on the footpath thinking he could go on the footpath and he was going about 10-15km and he said 'Hi,' to me and then he fell into a sink hole! Jacob L
When the 6.3 happened my friend was around at my house and we were both on the chairs next to each other, then we zoomed under the table. When that happened my Mum and her friend spilt their coffee all over the place. We had a pot hole from the Feb earthquake and all of the liquefaction came up our drive way and covered it! Neco
I was riding my scooter and when the 6.3 happened I fell off it and hurt myself. My Mum went to put the scooter away and there was another aftershock and I ran to the fence. Adam
When I got home and went inside everything was fine. When the 6.3 hit there was liquefaction and water all up my driveway. Nothing broke. Beth

My Treasures: Teddy Bear, Dolphin & Photos
They are my treasures because my best friend Ronald gave me the dolphin. I keep it in my bedroom. The teddy bear is special because my Grandad gave it to me. I love my photos because my Mum always prints them when we go out. I like looking at them.
Digital Pet Day: Molly and Freddy
Molly is a tabby kitten and she has a brother called Freddy. He likes to play with Molly. Molly is cool and Freddy is cool too. Molly has a little bit of black fur and a little bit of grey fur. Molly and Freddy like to play tag with each other. Molly and Freddy like eating cat food.

It was very exciting to see all of these boxes arrive on Thursday. Today I got the children to open up the containers and see all of the wonderful goodies Postgate School sent us. Megamog: Furry Molly
My megamog is colourful and pretty. My megamog's name is Furry Molly. She has rainbow fur. My megamog treats people nicely. My megamog's has is shaped like a circle. My megamog's eyes are triangle.
