Last week we went to a puppet show. Juliet made all these puppets and the name was Thumbs Up Puppetry. The bit I liked was when the farmer was chasing Peter around. I liked it when the lady made a pie and the farmer was hanging down. It was funny! By Chloe

What is an ecosystem?
Can you think of some different ecosystems? Do we have one at our school?

Thematic Workshop...
In order to understand what an ecosystem is we need to learn about food chains and the food lifecycle of an ecosystem.
Task 1: Work with a buddy to use the iPad dictionary to find the meaning of the words: habitat, carnivore, herbivore and omnivore.
Task 2: Watch a youtube video on animals that are omnivores, herbivores and carnivores.
Task 3: Work with a buddy to show others what these words mean.
Below are some examples of what the children came up with…
